Combined programs in Medicine — Pediatrics offer students the opportunity for in-depth training in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. While this career path provides exceptional training for primary care, Med-Peds also provides the option of completing subspecialty training in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or both.
At the end of the four-year training program, physicians are eligible for Board certification in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Graduates go on to practice in outpatient and inpatient settings, academic or private practices, and primary care or subspecialty practices. It’s a great way to obtain outstanding training to care for all members of the family.
